Challenge Events Manager (Maternity cover)
It’s an exciting time to join the RNIB Challenge Events team; the programme has seen significant growth over the last 3 years, and we have ambitious plans to grow further. We are a small, friendly and ambitious team, who love challenge events and take great pride in delivering outstanding supporter care to our fundraisers.
We’re looking for someone with a passion for challenge events, the digital environment, communication and data, who will use their skills and creativity to support the growth of our events programme and by doing so help break down the barriers faced by people with sight loss.
The role will independently manage a range of events, focused on maximising recruitment through well planned and executed marketing campaigns; maximising income and repeat support by delivering outstanding multi-channel supporter stewardship journeys; using data and insight to continuously improve supporter experience; leading and inspiring internal stakeholders to deliver cross-team projects; and managing legal, compliance and financial processes.
The role is critical to improving the performance of existing events, developing new events, raising our profile and brand awareness and delivering outstanding and innovative supporter care.
The role will manage project work to improve and develop processes and ways of working, champion challenge events across the organisation and contribute to the overall strategy, all with the aim of raising more money to break down the barriers faced by people with sight loss.
The successful person will have significant experience of challenge events and delivering successful multi-channel marketing campaigns and stewardship journeys. You will be highly organised and motivated, with confident project management abilities, and a proven track record of delivering successful and profitable challenge events.
In exchange we offer a competitive salary, a stimulating and supportive working environment and a benefits package including:
- 26 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays), which increase with service
- Excellent pension schemes
