This is a great time to join our client’s friendly Engagement & Advocacy as an Engagement & Advocacy Manager.

Earlier this year they launched a powerful movement of organisations and individuals to stand with young people and campaign for them to have equal access to high-quality services in their community. They’re looking for an ambitious, passionate and engaging individual to join their Engagement and advocacy team to help them build the movement, engaging with a range of organisations to empower them to campaign and advocate.  

About Our Client:
They provide young people aged 8-25 with high quality services, delivered through a network of 3,536 local youth organisations across the UK. Together they offer support, advice and training to over 1.5 million young people to equip them with skills for the future and help them engage in education, volunteering and employment.

About the role:
You will be responsible for implementing and managing a new offer that builds and maintains high quality youth services, you will connect and collaborate with organisations to develop innovative solutions that will create better outcomes for young people.

You will be a key point of contact, managing complex relationships with current and prospective organisations and supporting them to access a range of events and opportunities that will enable them to have a voice. Working from the ground up you will identify and deliver new and innovative ways of working to retain and increase their movement. 

You will work closely with other colleagues in the team to develop a range of benefits and services, through building relationships with stakeholders and with a keen eye for detail, use research and data from their movement to identify gaps and advocate for new services to respond to the changing needs of the youth sector.

What they can offer you:
A salary of £30,000-£36,000, dependent on experience and other benefits including:
•    27 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata for part time staff)
