A leading mental health charity based in a vibrant and eclectic area of Manchester City Centre, are looking for a Clinical Services Manager to join the team on a fixed term contract basis for 6 months.

Reporting to the Director of National and Clinical Services, you will lead from the front managing their second largest centre in the UK who provide assessment, care and therapy for refugees with complex mental health needs. Established in 1985, they are going through a period of transition and restructure and the ideal candidate will demonstrate gravitas, strong leadership skills and change management experience.

With extensive experience of managing clinical teams within a community setting, you will directly manage the staff of the centre, promoting best evidence based clinical practice, monitor, and assist in the delivery of client care and deliver training and capacity building activities. At a strategic level, you will contribute to the development of the centres clinical vision, helping the charity drive its goals forward, inputting into service delivery improvement, strategic planning and policy development. You will also be responsible for the compliance within the centre, ensuring clinical governance protocols are followed and recording and reporting critical incidents and recommending appropriate action to be taken. As a strong leader, you will monitor the centres performance, undertaking regular performance reviews with staff, ensuring clear measurable goals are developed.

It is essential that you have a professional training and qualifications in clinical work. You may have been a psychological therapist, Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker or a Registered Nurse (Mental Health) and have at least 5 years post registration experience working within mental health services.

The role is paying equivalent to £50,133 per annum and comes with an immediate start. For further details, please apply today!
