Established in 1903 our client’s is situated in 68 acres of Hertfordshire parkland between Harlow and Bishop’s Stortford. They support people with Epilepsy and other complex needs from the age of 5 through to 78 in their Children’s Home, School, College, Residential Homes with nursing and Day Centre. Over 150 adults and children call our client’s their home making them an inspirational place to do great work. 

Position: Care & Support Worker (Adults) 
Location: Much Hadham, Hertfordshire 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent (Flexible working considered) 
Hours: Full time, part time, casual and weekend positions available 
Salary: £16,466-£17,825 per annum plus generous weekend enhancements and overtime opportunities

As a Care & Support Worker in their Adult Home you’ll support their residents to live their lives as independently as possible in their well-equipped on site bungalows. You’ll be assisting with leisure activities such as horse-riding and swimming, alongside general domestic duties and personal care. You’ll work as part of a team to encourage their residents to achieve their potential and although at times it can be challenging this position gives you the opportunity to really have a positive impact on someone’s life. 

About you: 

You don’t need experience in care to join them – but you do need to be dedicated, caring and passionate about people. Their on-site training team will enable you to learn while you earn by supporting you to achieve recognised qualifications in Care. If you’re an excellent communicator with the desire, resilience, patience and motivation to support others they can offer you an incredibly rewarding role.
