They are on an exciting journey and have an opportunity for a Governance Director to carry out the company secretarial function for them and their subsidiaries.

This is a key role assisting the Board, Chair and Chief Executive on the effective governance and operation of the Trust through the use of processes, policies and procedures. You will lead risk management, internal audits, executive administration and Corporate Plan performance monitoring across organisational activities.

You will enable the Board to fulfil its statutory duties, including providing up-to-date governance advice, whilst ensuring they adhere to all statutory, regulatory and legal requirements.

They are looking for someone who is driven with a good understanding of the housing environment and associated governance issues.

You should be capable of easily assimilating a broad range of information and policies and therefore have exceptional listening, written and communication skills.

Consultation and negotiation skills with the ability to establish good working relationships with senior staff and Board Members is essential. The ability to travel to represent and promote the organisation is also a crucial element of the role.
