Are you a wellbeing expert? Do you have an understanding of the issues facing people with mental and physical problems in the workplace?

We're recruiting for a Wellbeing Engagement Manager to join us at the BHF and play a leading role in the continual improvement and promotion of the BHF's internal wellbeing programme, which enable our people to bring their 'whole-self' to work and feel supported to live a healthy and happy life both at home and at work.

About the role

You'll lead on the design, develop and roll out of strategies, policies and guidelines which will enable a whole organisation approach to wellbeing that embraces mental and physical health, workplace (work and physical environment) and health risk factors, leadership and a culture underpinned and informed by a solid framework of engagement and insight.

About you


You'll have previous experience of introducing/managing strategies that improve the wellbeing of staff in a complex setting as well as experience in collating and analysing insight and data, able to use this for practical solutions and programme development.

With a proven track record of translating strategic thinking into practical and deliverable activity you'll have experience of programme and project management in a fast paced environment including planning, developing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on performance.

To succeed in this role you'll have the following skills and experience:
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, able to be empathetic and understanding, approaching sensitive subjects with discretion, tact and diplomacy
* Able to establish effective relationships with a wide variety of internal audiences across different operational disciplines in geographically dispersed locations
* A visible role model with demonstrable transformational leadership qualities
* Excellent planning and organisation skills able to lead and manage a complex programme consisting of multiple work streams, stakeholders and significant amounts of data moving at a significant constant pace
* Excellent self-management skills working independently, using own initiative and being flexible and adaptable including making decision making skills and confidence in making operational decisions
