Our client are looking for a reliable and motivated manager to join their team at their service in Barnet.

About the role 
This is a full time postworking 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis; this role will be in a residential service attracting a salary of circa £35,500 per annum.

As a Manager you will provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments and/or learning disabilities. You will effectively manage a team to deliver person centred, specialist services that meet organisational standards and expectations.

You will need to have a sound knowledge of person centred planning, rota planning, staff management/development and budget management. In order to support our client’s commitment to high quality, accountable services, you will need to be aware of the expectations of the Health and Social Care Act 2015 and to develop an understanding of their Quality Assurance system. You will be required, to be registered with the relevant external agencies and maintain compliance.

As a Registered Manager, you need to be committed to ensuring everyone they support is at the centre of their support, that they ensure support is developed using a co-production approach.

You will have regular professional supervision with a skilled and knowledgeable Operations Manager.

You will be an excellent communicator who truly listens to what the people they support and their families want.

Their ideal candidate will be able to communicate in BSL but having a willingness to learn BSL is just as important.
