Communications Manager
Part political, party business and part charity – Our client is a third sector membership organisation with a twist! The student movement in the UK is made up of 550 students’ unions and 7million students. our client sits at the heart of this movement, delivering a national student voice and supporting local students’ unions to grow. They've been going through some big changes this year, so this is a particularly exciting time to join them. Expect fast-paced delivery alongside conversations about new ways of doing things in the future.
Position: 2x Communications Manager
Location: London/ Macclesfield
Job type: Full time, Fixed Term (6 Month) post
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary:£34,949 (plus 3,405 ILW per annum if based in London)

Interview on either: Wednesday 28th or Thursday 29th August 2019.
About the role:
Innovate, engage and support – that’s what their members expect from them. They’ve come a long way and now they need you to help them engage membership's and wider audiences in their work. Developing effective creative communications plans and dealing with the press, they’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated individual to help ensure our client priorities and messages are clearly communicated to a range of internal and external audiences. About you:
You’ll be totally at home working leading a team, working collaboratively to develop and implement our clients communications plan to promote campaigns, products and services across a variety of key communications channels.
You’ll thrive on proactively maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including the press, and internal stakeholders via media / campaign management and engagement (e.g. bulk email campaign work and social campaign work).
You’ll proactively champion, promote and support our client both internally and externally.
