Citizens Advice Gosport has secured funding to provide a new service to the residents of Gosport and is looking for an experienced welfare benefits advocate/caseworker.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys casework and unravelling the complexities of the welfare benefits system. This new project is to deliver a target driven specialised welfare benefit service to the residents of Gosport who are often very vulnerable and demonstrate a high level of need to make and manage their welfare benefit claims. The work is mostly complex welfare benefits casework with tribunal representation where appropriate
We are looking for someone who is proficient in welfare benefits with experience in mandatory reconsiderations and the appeals process.
This role is currently fixed term until 31st August 2020 but may be extended depending on funding.
