Hours: 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday
We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to join the new team building and launching our new Garden in Bridgewater. The garden will open in 2020 but we need someone in post to build awareness and interest from this Autumn onwards.
Job Overview
The post will report into our Cross Gardens Marketing Manager (based in London) and has responsibility for the delivery of campaigns within the wider organisational campaign approach including brand, shows, membership and gardens.
Initially the key channel will be PR to build interest in the new site through developing positive relationships with key local and regional journalists across broadcast, print and online media. This will be achieved under guidance and direction from the PR Manager for Gardens (based in London), in line with the overarching RHS Communications Plan supporting the key messages and objectives for the garden.
Going forward a large part of the role is to work with the rest of the Bridgewater team (eg; Head of Site, Visitor Services Managers) and the Membership team in London to create product propositions and events programmes in the garden, which appeal to our Audience Segments including existing members.
Key Skills and Experience
*Experience of launching or working in a new visitor attraction in the North West
*Experience of local PR
*Experience of using audience insight to plan campaigns
*Experience of campaign creative development and media planning
