Salary: £21,542.40 plus Essential Car User Allowance as well as a generous benefits package
Location: Blackpool
Full Time (35 hours per week)
Temporary – up to 12 months (to cover maternity leave)

Our client are a value-orientated Housing Association working together to create communities where people want to live. They manage circa 5,500 homes over a wide geographical area and our residents include families, older people and those in need of special care and support

Our client are currently seeking a Community Housing Assistant who will be based at the Association’s Blackpool area office. The successful candidate will provide a flexible, efficient and effective administrative support service to Housing Services colleagues both within a defined area and across teams as required. They are looking for somebody to take ownership and responsibility for efficiently and honestly resolving all customer queries through to a successful resolution as soon as practically possible and referring to specialist colleagues if necessary.

You will work closely with colleagues to manage the re-letting of properties, take the lead on effectively dealing with aids and adaptations requests, respond and deal with low level incidences of anti-social behaviour and support the delivery of a robust income management and arrears recovery service in accordance with Group policies and procedures.

You will provide an office presence and cover for colleagues whilst they are out in the communities to ensure a seamless service at all times, as well as estate management cover for colleagues when required.
