In the UK there are more than one million disabled children and nearly four million children living in poverty.  Our client's charity exists to improve the lives of those children. Since their inception in 1949 the Charity has raised over £200 million and supported more than 800,000 children affected by ill health, disadvantage and disability across the UK.  When statutory funding cannot adequately meet a child’s needs, they step in.

This role involves supporting both executive leaders with day to day administration as well as organising various regular board and committee meetings.  In addition, 50 per cent of the role will encompass management of the organisation’s head office in London.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both supporting a senior executive and a board of Trustees/ Directors (or senior committee) within the Charity Sector.  They will be skilled at building relationships at all levels of the organisation and show discretion and tact when dealing with matters of a confidential nature.  The candidate will be proactively driving deadlines and forward planning which is particularly crucial in supporting the Chief Barker which has an annual change of office.

This is a unique opportunity to join the Charity at an exciting time and be part of a small team making big changes for its future.
