The International Tourism Partnership (ITP) brings together the world's leading international hotel companies, providing a voice for environmental and social responsibility in the hotel industry.

ITP's membership consists of the world's leading hotel companies and comprises nearly 30% of the overall industry. ITP's Board is comprised of CEOs and/or C-suite level stakeholders seeking to drive the responsible growth agenda forward in their companies.

The Role:

The International Tourism Partnership (ITP) has grown rapidly over the past 12 months and are poised to double this again in a similar period. This growth is largely as a result of bilateral funders, their sub-contractors and grant-making trusts and foundations increasing engagement with ITP programmes and the private sector to drive change. As Head of Programmes you will have the opportunity to establish a new role taking responsibility for developing and implementing a Programme strategy for ITP across its four areas of activity: Human Rights, Youth Employment, Water and Carbon. You will lead on the strategy development of new offerings and programmes whilst taking responsibility for ensuring quality and consistency across programme implementation including responsibility for leading a high performing programme operations team.

The Person:

You will be an entrepreneurial leader who is excited by the opportunity to help a fast-growing organisation realise its potential; the right person for this role will demonstrate:

- Commercial acumen and insight with a track record of effective implementation of new programmes

- Proven experience of working in the international development sector with experience in leading and driving collaboration to deliver global and national impact.

- Experience of building relationships with senior external stakeholders to drive activity and co-create high impact, innovative programmes

- Overseeing implementation across programmatic activity

- Experience of measuring programme performance and establishing an impact-driven programme culture with robust systems, processes and frameworks for programmatic activity

- A track record of leading organisational change and managing and developing high performing teams
