The Julia and Hans Rausing Trust is a charitable fund that supports organisations and charities across the globe, but with a focus on the UK. Since its formation, the Trust has provided over 220 grants totalling more than £200 million. The Trust supports a number of initiatives focused on three main areas: Health & Medicine; Social Justice, Welfare & Education; and Arts, Culture & Heritage.

We are delighted to be working with the Trust to recruit a newly created role of Grants Manager.

The role will support the Head of Grants in managing the Trust's giving in London and nationally, with particular responsibility for local funding in Kensington and Chelsea. This will involve working collaboratively with the Head of Grants to identify charities for funding, ongoing liaison with grant recipients, and monitoring visits and report writing.

The successful candidate will be bright, emotionally mature and flexible. This person will ideally have demonstrated experience as a Grants Manager or equally valuable experience could possibly have been gained from fundraising or project management in a charity. An outstanding communicator with a keen interest in the core areas of work of the Trust, this person will be able to work in a small tight knit environment where collaboration is paramount. The ability to cultivate relationships and engage with charities will also be important.
