Building on the remarkable legacy of the Dartington Social Research Unit, the Dartington Service Design Lab was launched in July 2017; a 21st century organisation ready to challenge and inspire radical reform of systems and services to improve the lives of children, families and communities.
Its work focuses on three broad areas: system reform, service design and information design.
Dartington Service Design Lab now looking to strengthen membership of its existing Board with at least three exceptional individuals to help steer the new incarnation of the charity in its new direction.
Quarterly board meetings in London and AGM in Dartington
The board of Dartington Service Design Lab wish to appoint up three additional Trustees to support and provide governance of the highest quality and rigour as the organisation enters a phase of increased impact.
The new Trustees will have an important role in helping to shape the new strategic direction of the organisation. Dartington Service Design Lab are particularly interested in hearing from people with knowledge or expertise in at least one of the following areas - child development and social policy research; leadership of children’s services in England or Scotland; financial audit and management; developing and selling commercially viable products and services; and digital technology.
