A leading Community Group based in the heart of East London are looking for a Service Manager to lead, manage and deliver a flexible short break service for children and young people with disabilities and complex needs.

Working closely with the Managing Director, you will lead the strategic development of the service to children and young people in line with business goals, promoting effective partnerships with other services, the voluntary sector as well as with the service users and their families. This role comes with line management responsibilities for around 18 staff.

As the Registered Centre Manager, you will have comprehensive knowledge of legislation relating to children and young people, ensuring that the service remains compliant with regulatory and legal obligations.

A successful candidate will have recent experience working directly with children and young people and it will be very desirable if this experience included working with children and young people with complex SEN and or disabilities and other challenging behaviours. You will be passionate about supporting children and young people and acting as an advocate for those with complex needs, motivating and inspiring your team and leading from the front.

The role is being recruited on a fixed term contract basis for 6 months. As this is an urgent requirement, candidates must be available immediately or on very short notice. Interviews will take place next week. Please apply today!
