Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity is looking to recruit an engaging, passionate and tenacious Community Fundraiser who can lead on the growth and potential in the London area. The overall purpose of the role is to help more children with serious medical conditions by delivering strong, cost effective and sustainable income growth from local communities. 

This role is homebased covering the London area so the successful candidate must have good transport links to London and be confident at homeworking.

The role’s main task is to secure new income and be responsible for the successful account management of the charity’s relationships with a variety of community groups, individuals and volunteers.

This is the second role of an ambitious community fundraising strategy that sees the roll out of community fundraisers around the country. This is therefore a role for someone who is a leader and can demonstrate effectiveness being able to train others who come into similar roles.

The successful candidate will have solid experience in community fundraising or relationship/volunteer management, you will have a track record of managing and delivering on financial targets and experience of establishing and retaining new supporters and community groups.

The successful candidate will be someone who shares the charity’s core values of being courageoussparkyinventive and kind and who can live by the ethos of who Roald Dahl was and what he is delivering through his legacy.
