This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, passionate team of fundraisers as Head of Fundraising.

Position: Head of Fundraising

Location: Tunbridge Wells

Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week) or part time considered

Salary: £42,758 (FTE)

Contract: Permanent

Benefits: Generous pension scheme and holiday allowance, including that ability to buy and sell holiday. Long Service is also recognised. You will also receive a mobile phone and mileage allowance, plus free parking and subsidised meals.

This is a great opportunity for someone to lead and maximise fundraising, whilst inspiring and developing those around them.

The Role

Our client is proud to put the donor at the heart of their approach to fundraising, so you will need to have a knack for developing great relationships and building rapport. As Head of Fundraising, you will be leading and developing an experienced team of existing fundraising managers.

As Head of Fundraising you will:

 

  • Provide leadership, management and inspiration to all staff and volunteers in the fundraising department.
  • Play a role in shaping the direction of the wider organisation.
  • Manage income streams.
  • Develop the fundraising database.
  • Develop and drive forward a three-year plan for growth across all fundraising income streams.
  • Ensure that ‘relationship fundraising’ is embraced in every aspect of interaction with donors and supporters.

 

About you

As Head of Fundraising you will have:

 

  • A knack for developing great relationships and building rapport, with the ‘donor’ at the heart of the approach to fundraising.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in fundraising, marketing or sales and be able to demonstrate that you can manage a team to successfully achieve targets.
