There will also be the requirement to create suitable working groups, including external stakeholders (e.g. Centre for London, London Funders, City Bridge Trust) and internal stakeholders (CSP, Mayor’s office, Deputy Mayors and policy teams in order to create a combined workplan and approach that will avoid duplication and draw on individual organisations strengths and knowledge.

You will need to be; a skilled communicator at a senior level, able to work with external partners and stakeholders, have a high level of internal policy awareness. Regarding technical competencies, we are looking for someone with experience and understanding of the context of philanthropy and civil society in London and the policy space occupied by the GLA, experience of working with philanthropic organisations, commercial organisations, advising on effective philanthropic and ESV engagement with civil society and the public sector across a wide variety of areas. We also want someone with a successful track record of developing new strategies and policy approaches and in taking work from a vision to implementation.
