Our client is seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to the new role of Development Manager, Major Gifts.

The Development & Alumni team are at a pivotal moment as they look to expand their fundraising potential and maximise opportunities in line with the University’s Strategic Plan.  The role of Development Manager, Major Gifts, will be an extremely exciting position for a committed and dynamic individual looking to grow income for a University with ambition and significant potential. 

The successful candidate will become part of a community that is genuinely committed to providing transformative, life changing opportunities. The postholder will cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential donors to raise significant levels of philanthropic income and also work closely with academic colleagues to identify potential fundraising projects.

Strategic thinking, enthusiasm and a passion for making a difference in the world through creative and innovative approaches that support philanthropy at the University are all prerequisites.

This role is available as a full or part-time (4 days) position and offered with flexible working and relocation assistance. 

This role is based in Sunderland.
