A leading children’s rights charity, it provides a range of inter-related services including advocacy, mental health and return interviews for children, young people and vulnerable adults from 0-25, across England and Wales for over 30 years.

We are looking for a senior manager with strong leadership skills and clear vision in the development and delivery of this organisation's Young People, Children and Adult Services throughout England. You will ensure that the structure for the Children’s Services aligns with the wider strategy and builds capacity and skill sets to deliver priorities.

Your remit will also include maintaining and developing communication and working relationships within the whole charity, the wider community and external multi-agency partnerships, including central government agencies, Ofsted etc.

The appointed candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of consistent achievement and innovation as a senior leader in children services gained within the private, public and/or third sector, including participation in the strategic planning of a large, complex, multi-discipline and challenging national business.

The role requires detailed and extensive knowledge of delivering children’s service and the commissioning funding landscape supported by a thorough understanding of the legislation and statutory obligations relating to Children’s Services e.g. The Children Act and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
