Operating within the umbrella of the renowned London's Air Ambulance, this incredible organisation are one of the UK's leading emergency services providers and also world's first Institute of Pre-Hospital Care. They are now seeking an Institute Officer who will become an imperative part of their journey as they undergo a positive period of growth and transformation.
The Institute Officer will largely contribute to ensuring the smooth running of the Institute's education programmes and courses including the BSc in Prehospital Medicine, to name just one. You will be responsible for the co-ordination of administrative activity for courses and events while also assisting in the creation of visual material for presentations, advertisements and preparations of manuscripts including teaching and lecturing materials. With support of the Institute Manager you will also have the opportunity to facilitate the arrangement and support of other course events such as Open Days, Induction Weeks, End of Year Parties and Alumni get togethers and other events as deemed appropriate.
It is fundamentally essential that you have well defined experience in an administrative role with a high level of competence in utilising Microsoft Office software, regardless of sector or mission. To be successful in this position you need to have demonstrable experience in a similar administrative role with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, regardless of sector or mission.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial for the success of this position as is the ability to skilfully and warmly engage with people at all levels while also being able to manage sensitive situations with empathy and diplomacy. A natural aptitude in working calmly and effectively in a driven environment and a flair for staying well organised is also a key requirement and we welcome anyone to apply who can operate independently as well as co-operatively with others.
