Who we are

Part business, part charity, part membership body – students’ unions are all seriously fun places to work. They are organisations in their own right. Professionally run, but different. Professional teams support elected student leaders to make change, improve lives and fulfil potential; we help make it happen.

Arts SU deliver charitable services and support for students at University of the Arts London. We employ around 35 permanent staff, many hundreds of student staff and volunteers across our business. The Union has two main sources of income – an annual grant from the University and income generated through trading services such as bars & coffees shops.

About the job

Arts Students’ Union (SU) is looking for a creative Events Coordinator to join the Community Team, based at Central Saint Martins. We are looking for a highly organised, and creative individual to support the programming and delivery of student-led events at Central Saint Martins.

This role will also include supporting student-led exhibitions, administering funding to student projects, and organising creative events including workshops, talks, and Pop Up markets on campus, and in the local community. The CSM Events Coordinator will also be expected to support delivery of large-scale Arts SU projects including the Freshers’ programme, and Arts SU Elections.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, with an interest in the arts and the ability to think creatively. They will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster partnerships with Arts SU and UAL staff, students, and local businesses.
