Our client is a London based charity aiming to prevent homelessness. They work closely with vulnerable and socially excluded people to help transform their lives. They are currently looking for a Hostel Administrator to support their service users presenting with complex needs. This role is offered on a full-time, temporary basis, initially for 3 months.
As an Hostel Administrator, you will support the smooth running of the day-to-day service delivery, acting as a first point of contact for both residents and visitors, and ensuring that reception is covered at all times. Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of the daily hostel activities programme, diaries and appointments, you will oversee the booking and use of activity spaces by external agencies and other departments.
The successful candidate would have experience in working in teams as well as be able to flexibly work with service users who have a low level of engagement with the service, experience working with external stakeholders coupled with strong organisational and IT skills.
The successful candidate would be required to work 37.5 hours per week, working across Monday - Friday 8 am - 4 pm.
