Grants and Development Manager (Maternity Cover)

Salary starting at: £25,463 to £27,931 per annum, pro rata
Hours: Part time, 30 hours per week
Contract: 12 month maternity cover contract
The Planning and Development Team in High Value Partnerships at our client's UK HQ is looking for a Grants and Development Manager to join their highly successful team. This role can be flexibly based but preferably at another of their offices or at UKHQ in Sandy. Travel to Sandy/London (or project sites) will be required for key pieces of work and team liaison, remote technology will be used as appropriate.
Grant funding is an important income stream for this charity and they are ideally looking for people who have experience in developing and writing high value grant funded projects as well as working in partnership. They are particularly looking for fundraisers with knowledge and experience of working within the National Lottery, Landfill Communities Fund, Statutory and EU Interreg/LIFE funding streams. They are also looking for people with good transferable skills in project development.
The successful candidate will need to be well organised, imaginative and resourceful with a good eye for detail. They should also have excellent interpersonal skills, a disciplined approach to project management, leadership qualities and a proven ability to work as part of a team which includes close collaboration with UKHQ, UK country and regional colleagues.
