Job Summary:
Our client is looking for a talented and ambitious individual to deliver exceptional supporter care to new and existing community fundraisers. The Community Supporter Care Officer will actively steward supporters through effective handling of enquiries and management of the CRM database. The Community Supporter Care Officer will also offer excellent PA support to the Community Fundraising Team as well as initiating pro-active engagement with the Yorkshire community.

Salary: Up to £21k
Hours: 37.5 hours p/w (27 days holidays per annum + bank holidays)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Office based (Woodhouse Square, Leeds, LS3 1AD)

Principal Responsibilities:
Supporter Care:
•    Provide professional and personal service to their community supporters via email, telephone, post and digital communications.
•    Steward existing community supporters through the donor journey and recruit new community fundraisers across the region.
•    Support the Marketing & Communications Officer by providing compelling community information to be used on e-newsletters, website, social media and bi-annual Newsletter.
•    Management of the Harlequin CRM, keeping fully up-to-date with information on community supporters and their activities, enabling for excellent stewardship.
•    To meet targets and objectives set by the Senior Community Fundraiser.
•    Occasionally work unsociable hours attending events and supporting fundraisers.

Business Development:
•    Support the Community Fundraising Team in growing income by developing new community fundraising opportunities across Yorkshire & Humberside.
•    To undertake research in order to maximise new fundraising opportunities.
•    Support the development and implementation of new streams of income development as part of the Community Fundraising Strategy.
•    Support the Community Fundraising Team by creating and delivering presentations for specific community groups.
•    Act as an ambassador for them, representing the charity at external events, including cheque presentations and undertaking public speaking.
•    To actively promote participation in their activity based fundraising e.g. treks, skydives and running events.

Administration:
•    Be a key point of contact for the Community Fundraising Team, providing effective PA support.
•    Conduct data analysis of community fundraising to provide insightful information to senior management.
•    Assisting with any other ad hoc duties and administrative support as required by the Corporate Fundraising Team.
•    To actively participate in individual performance review and any training or development identified to further enhance your role with them.

Person Specification:
Knowledge & Experience – Essential:
•    Experience of working in an environment requiring excellent organisational skills, ability to plan workload and to meet deadlines.
•    Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, including telephone, email and face-to-face.
•    Advanced IT skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
•    The ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Desirable: 
•    Experience working in a target driven environment.
•    Experience of working within a sales/fundraising environment.
•    Knowledge of Harlequin CRM.
•    Full UK driving licence.
