Job Details

Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with the Film and Television Charity to recruit their new Impact & Evaluation Manager. A newly created post in a time of exciting growth and direction for the organisation, the Impact & Evaluation Manager will play a vital role in facilitating positive change and improvement to services through effective and insightful analysis.

The charity supports people in the UK film, television, and cinema industry at every stage of their career and beyond. The charity's mission is to support the wellbeing of all the ordinary and extraordinary people who help bring stories to our screens, empowering them to fulfil their personal and professional lives.

In this exciting new role, this person will create and implement a user-led insight and impact strategy that uses data and peoples' lived experiences to inform ongoing service improvement and the development of new initiatives, as well as supporting the charity's profile and income generation by allowing it to tell the story of who it is and what it achieves. The charity recognises that impact evaluation has to become part of its culture, informing decisions at every level in the organisation, and this function will play a crucial role in influencing and embedding that impact-centred culture. This will involve collating and synthesizing data, reviewing existing intelligence, working collaboratively with colleagues, engaging partners, and creating an effective user-relevant strategy to improve and enhance services to meet the needs of clients in the best possible way.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in impact evaluation and statistical analysis in the charity sector, exceptional attention to detail, and outstanding written skills. An effective project manager with the ability to meet demanding deadlines, this person will be a clear and confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. Experience of leading on qualitative and quantitative evaluation projects will be essential, and having worked in or at least have an understanding of the way the film, television and cinema industries work will be a real advantage. Empathetic and forward thinking, this person will share the charity's vision to make sure each and every client receives the best possible support specific to their needs.

To apply, please submit a Word Document version of your CV. Cover letters are not required at this stage.
