Wellbeing Officer

This vibrant and cultured charity based in West London are looking for a dedicated Wellbeing Officer to join the team on a temporary basis for up to 8 weeks. The charity delivers vital services to tackle loneliness and improve wellbeing. You will be an integral part of the team, supporting the Telephone Friendship Services Manager and team to deliver an effective and efficient telephone befriending services, coordinating the activity of volunteers including supporting their recruitment and retention.

You will have excellent attention to detail and be confident working with databases to produce reports as well as general database administration. You will have a friendly and empathetic telephone manner as part of the role will require contacting service users directly to assess their friendship needs to ensure service requirements are met as well as responding to enquiries from service users, families and community support workers. You will also work closely with the team to monitor safeguarding issues and to ensure that all services are delivered to agreed quality and organisational charities.

You will demonstrate proactive and first-class customer service experience in a previous role and ideally worked in supporting a helpline/support line where service users may have complex needs.
