Our client is a well-known and respected Charity established in 1966 with an honourable legacy. This charity worked across London and Oxfordshire offering local community focussed support to people through advocacy, care and support at home, short breaks, daytime and community support, training, leisure and employment services. 

About the role: 

They are looking for an experienced and passionate Managing Director to lead them (London). 

You will welcome your role as Executive Director on the board setting direction and providing good governance. Day to day you will drive their impact, be accountable for adherence to all internal and external policies as well as legal and contractual requirements. Demonstrating an effective and balanced approach to performance management that focusses on impact. 

Relationships are fundamental and they need a Managing Director who seeks and builds varied collaborative relationships with a community focus. You will need to provide their skilled senior leadership team effective coaching, clear objectives and good development opportunities. 

About you: 

To be successful in this role you will be ambitious on behalf of people and the organisation, have a comprehensive knowledge of the learning disability sector and best practice and have experience of working and living in greater London.
