Role: Education Officer – Hidden Hastings Heritage

Salary: £21,989 per annum
Hours: Full time - 37.5 per week Monday to Friday, with a willingness to carry out some evening and weekend working
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract for two years

Our client, a community charity, is changing places, changing lives across the South of England, one green step at a time.

Role Description: 
As part of a new two year National Lottery Heritage Fund project for Hastings Country Park our client is are looking for an Education Officer to join their project team and lead on bringing to life the park’s heritage for schools, community groups, individuals and tourists alike.

You will have experience of creating engaging and high-quality education resources directly linked to the national curriculum and of building strong relationships with schools. Excited about the natural environment and the heritage of this very special landscape you will create imaginative indoor and outdoor events and activities to attract new visitors to the park and help people to learn about all it has to offer.

This role requires a Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for which you will need to be insured for business use. Employees are able to claim back mileage rates as per their Expenses Policy.
