Fundraising Compliance Officer

Prospectus is delighted to be supporting an international charity as they are currently looking to recruit a Fundraising Compliance Officer within their Fundraising Communications Team (FundComm).
This role will assist in the development and delivery of procedure mapping, staff training, and creating procedural documents and manuals covering areas such as data collection, processing, procedures, storage and destruction, whilst ensuring the organisation has current, compliant agreements and contracts in place and that monitoring is being undertaken and recorded with our data processors and professional fundraising agencies.
This role is expected to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders in the Individual Giving Team, FundComm department, and across the organisation as required. This role is required to assist with agency and volunteer training, monitoring agency activity and managing agencies on a day-to-day basis for key bodies of work such at telemarketing, recruitment and digital fundraising.
The successful candidate will be a proactive, autonomous person with experience in a similar role. You will have experience working within a fundraising and communications team in a charity with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. You will have an awareness of sector regulators and industry bodies and their role in charity fundraising (such as Charity Commission, IOF, Information Commissioners Office, the Fundraising Regulator and the Fundraising Code of Practice).
