Job Details
Our client are an innovative, award-winning live music/creative producer and leading provider of music education. Their vision is a world in which opportunities for participation, ownership and leadership in music and the arts are made accessible to all. Our client provides a range of high quality education programmes in schools, arts venues and community centres and are now looking to recruit a dedicated Artist Development Programme Manager to oversee this vital work.
As Artist Development Programme Manager you will play a key role in our client's management structure; you will work as part of an exciting growth programme, ensuring that services are delivered to a high quality and that our client's model of pedagogy is at the heart of all future service developments. You will oversee a team of part-time/freelance operational staff, including music leaders and volunteers, ensuring a high quality learning and public engagement programme that continuously increases its reach, impact and income. You will contribute to funding bids and business plans, fulfilling all monitoring and evaluation requirements, devising and implementing a dual strand engagement policy to enhance involved of all internal and externa stakeholders.
To apply for this role you must have demonstrable passion for music, with a good knowledge of the music industry and arts sector. You must have significant experience in a managerial capacity within the arts of music education sector, and must an in-depth knowledge and understanding of music education practice. You must have demonstrable experience of devising, delivering and managing a varied programme of high quality educational and development activity with young people, adults and professional artists, and will have the ability to plan and manage multiple projects. You will have extensive experience of financial planning, budget management and income generation. Overall you will be committed to inspiring, fostering and growing a vibrant community of artists, audiences and leaders, using music education to ultimately transform the lives of future generations.
