Prospectus is supporting Power to Change in their search for a Digital Product Manager. It is a fantastic time to join Power to Change as they develop two bespoke apps to help improve community businesses efficiency after receiving a £10million endowment from The National Lottery Community Fund. These apps are deigned to manage volunteers and a visitor registration app to track and monitor footfall at those which have a physical base, such as a community centre. They have reached an important point in the development of these apps and are seeking to further grow the user base, and improve the quantity and quality of the data they collect to provide more powerful analyses.

Please be advised this role can be based in either London, Bristol or Sheffield.

 

The overall purpose on this position is to lead on continuous development, day-to-day management, and scaling up of their platform, which ultimately helps community businesses deliver change in their communities. You will manage the roadmap and budget, lead the definition of user stories and requirements, work with programme managers to ensure the grantees have the tools they need to succeed, and determine and implement quality assurances processes. As this a manager role, you will also be responsible for a team of three and will work with them to manage technical delivery and support them in moving through the lifecycle stages.

To be successful as a Digital Product Manager, you will have product management experience (e.g. mobile apps or SaaS), knowledge of user research and an understanding of agile working. Your ability to analyse, understand and report quantitative data and understanding of design principles and practice (particularly general UI/X best practices) will be needed. Having a strong focus and ability to understand the difference between user needs and desires is a must. It is also important to build relationships both internally and externally and work collaboratively with colleagues across all areas of the organisation.
