Prospectus is delighted to be working with a leading music organisation to recruit for their new Development Coordinator. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's leading producers of live jazz and international and new music events. The organisation works with artists and partners from all over the world, creating concerts, tours and special events including the London Jazz Festival, the UK's largest annual celebration of jazz.

The Development Coordinator will be responsible for leading event management for all hospital activity during the London Jazz Festival and will manage existing client relationships. Reporting to the Head of Development, the Development Coordinator will also lead on all funding proposals and sponsorship packages, leading on reports and tender writing as required. The corporate sponsorship and partnership portfolio is a healthy and vibrant group of supporters at five and six-figure levels, so the selected candidate will be a superb relationship manager with excellent communication skills.

The selected candidate will have excellent project management and planning skills and will ideally have worked in a fundraising environment before. This may include soliciting and securing sponsorship or funding from corporate partners and you will be able to demonstrable superb customer relations and client management experience. You will ideally have experience of networking and relationship building and will be able to prioritise your own busy workload. The selected candidate will be a natural networker and will ideally be highly interested in music, access to music, and projects and programmes that can affect change across society through music.
