Fixed Term - 12 months - Full time - 35 hours a week

 

You will be part of the Regional Philanthropy team, raising funds from Major Donors and Trusts & Foundations, with specific responsibility for the North of England!

 

As a Philanthropy Manager, you will have a particular focus on the North West region, and fundraising campaigns in Greater Manchester and Liverpool in particular. You will have a personal income target of approximately GBP 500K, made up of both existing accounts and new business, but with an emphasis on building new Philanthropic relationships in this region.

 

We would like our Philanthropy Manager to be an ambitious and target-driven fundraiser, with outstanding communication and inter-personal skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with supporters, colleagues and volunteers. You can proactively seek out new opportunities, with initiative, tenacity and creativity, and make a meaningful contribution to our regional place-based fundraising.

 

You can be based in either Manchester or Liverpool, but will need to have the flexibility to travel around the region and other parts of the country, and to occasionally work outside the normal office hours, as required.

In order to carry out this work The Trust needs to raise GBP 73.6m. Our income is mainly drawn from four key fundraising areas: Government, Corporate partners, Philanthropists, & Events, We are also growing our income from legacies and individuals.
