We’re looking for an experienced volunteer coordinator to work on ‘Refugee Integration Yorkshire and Humber’, a large new project led by Migration Yorkshire, in which we’re working closely with local employers, services, communities and individual refugees to establish a new region-wide approach to integration. The project is co-funded by the European Union Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund.

You’ll develop a volunteer programme to recruit and support refugees to deliver training to key public services about ways to be more refugee-friendlyYou’ll also explore opportunities across the community for local people and organisations to work together to improve everyone’s experiences of integration.

Key skills and qualities we’re looking for include:

  • Experience of managing volunteer projects and supporting volunteers.
  • Experience of successfully developing and delivering new projects.
