Fundraising Manager 

Our client is one of the largest and longest-established charities supporting people with learning disabilities. They work with people with learning disabilities to enable them to live the best lives possible. It's about giving people with learning disabilities the chance to have the kind of lives we might want for ourselves, or for our loved ones. This is what they do and this is why they need you to join their Fundraising Team. 

Position: Divisional Fundraising Manager - Central 
Location: Home based, ideally in or around Central England (Cambridge, Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Nottingham, Stoke-on-Trent) with regular travel to services within the region. 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 hours per week 
Salary: £29,596 pa plus car allowance

About the role: 

There has never been a more exciting time to join them. With the implementation of a new fundraising plan, they are ambitious to grow to help even more people with learning disabilities 

They are looking for a dynamic fundraising relationship manager to join their team. As Divisional Fundraising Manager in Central England, you will maximise income and awareness for our client by supporting and developing regional fundraising activity 

You will achieve ambitious targets by generating and managing fantastic supporter relationships. No two days will be the same as you'll be working with services, individuals, groups and corporate, supporting them with their fundraising ambitions 

About you: 

Our client has big ambitions. However, these can only be achieved with the right people with the right skills and attitude. 

The successful candidate may have a proven track record in fundraising or relationship management and generating new business to meet income targets. But equally you could be looking for your first job in charity; or someone outside of the sector looking to gain some amazing experience in a brilliant fundraising team. You’ll be an influential negotiator with highly engaging communication, presentation, networking and relationship building skills. You will be self-motivated and action focused with excellent time management skills. 

You will need to: 

- Have a full UK driving licence and access to a car 
- Have a sufficient Broadband connection 
- Live in the region stated. Candidates who live outside should highlight an intention to relocate to the area in their covering letter for their application to be considered
