This is an exciting time to join our client as a new Bid Writer. 

You will have a strong track record of writing creative and innovative funding proposals to build on the success of our current partnerships with well-known funders and corporate partners. They’re looking for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and wants to work in a dynamic, ambitious and creative organisation.

They provides young people aged 8-25 with high quality services, delivered through a network of 3,536 local youth organisations across the UK. Together they offer support, advice and training to over 1.5 million young people to equip them with skills for the future and help them engage in education, volunteering and employment.

About the Role

They are recruiting for a creative and passionate Bid Writer to join the growing Partnerships & Fundraising team. They are looking for someone with a good attention to detail, excellent written skills, experience of managing budgets and the ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

You will be responsible for taking identified opportunities and funding ideas and developing high-quality, compelling and persuasive funding proposals to unlock funding across their workstreams. You will work with internal and external stakeholders and have responsibility for the bid development process ensuring deadlines and income targets are met.  

Building on an incredible base of successful partnerships with well-known brands and funders (such as Microsoft, UPS, Coca Cola European Partners, National Lottery Community Fund, Sport England, and Spirit 2012) you will be responsible for unlocking funding from corporate partners, Trusts & Foundations as well as various government departments including Home Office, DCMS and DfE.

In this role you will work closely with the Head of Business Development, Senior Leadership Team and Management Teams to submit high quality, innovative funding proposals.
