£25,875.25 FTE, £19,581.27 pro rata for 28 hours PLUS CAR ALLOWANCE 


1x fixed term 

28 hour per week post until 1 August 2020

Some flexibility on the days worked is possible 


Our client is a community benefit society providing over 3,000 homes across West Yorkshire for a variety of different types of households.  They also offer a wide range of support services including support for people with mental health issues, people at risk of homelessness, people experiencing domestic abuse and support to young people.


They are currently looking for an energetic, passionate and organised individual to join their Dispersed and Visiting Support Service in Dewsbury. You will be skilled in developing supportive relationships and working with people both individually and in groups. Excellent listening, communication and problem solving skills are essential along with demonstrable experience of building positive relationships with external agencies.


You will support people with varying levels of need including those who have experienced domestic violence, are at risk of homelessness, have mental health or substance misuse issues.


The post holder will be expected to:

  • Deliver a high quality, customer focused and responsive support service
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, key stakeholders and local community partners
  • Achieve key performance indicator targets in a number of support areas including education, training and employment, preventing homelessness, better financial management and health outcomes
