Working with local boroughs, they deliver a variety of high quality yet affordable health and fitness centres. With impressive growth of late and further targets to reach, they've recently refocussed their efforts by creating a digital-specific team.
Description
The purpose of the Junior Ecommerce Manager is to work dynamically within the digital team, assisting BAU marketing and project development. Principle responsibilities include:
- Website & app improvement projects
- Support competitor analysis and user research activity (e.g. surveys, workshops)
- Work with wider business to analyse and document business processes, understand user requirements
- Support creation of specifications/user stories
- Support creation of test plans and testing
- Assist development of wireframes and prototypes
- Positively contribute to design reviews and walk-throughs, communicate system designs and validate proposed solutions where applicable
- Proactively support the project team, and internal and external stakeholders as appropriate, to ensure solution designs and implementations are in line with requirements
- Produce key stakeholders project updates (monthly, quarterly, ad hoc)
- Attend all Digital feedback meetings with wider business teams including weekly marketing meetings and ensure follow-up actions are completed
- Produce accurate reports on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
- Make recommendations to optimise and improve the digital customer journey through analysing key metrics using web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Hotjar)
Profile
To be successful in the Junior Ecommerce Manager role, among other things you'll need:
- Project management experience within a digital setting
- Capacity to galvanise workstreams across the business, forwarding the digital agenda
- Proactive and methodical approach to problem-solving, with impeccable organisational capacity
- Technical exposure with CMS, design, and asset creation
- Ability to create reports in Google Analytics, interpret common metrics, and demonstrate meaning to the wider business
- A broad-ranging digital marketing exposure with a proactive and goal-oriented approach to internal communications
