This is a major new appointment for the charity, which will play an instrumental role in its strategic development over the coming years. The charity is looking for a corporate fundraising and strategic partnerships specialist to join their creative, proactive and passionate team.

National Numeracy is an independent charity established in 2012 that aims to enable everyone across the UK to be confident and competent in using numbers and data in order to make good decisions in their daily life. The organisation has three key areas of focus; raising awareness, improving numeracy and improving communication of numbers and data.

As the Partnerships Director, you will manage the organisation's existing strategic corporate partners including designing cultivation plans and will also identify and negotiate future partnerships that align with the charity's strategic aims and long-term sustainability. National Numeracy is looking for a strong networker and someone who builds strong relationships with both internal and external senior stakeholders. As part of the Management Group (made up of all senior members), you will have a thorough understanding of the organisation's strategic direction and will help shape the charity's product suite and contribute to strategic and development decisions.

The organisation is looking for candidates with a track record of securing funding through soliciting corporate partnerships within a non-profit setting. In order to be successful, you will need the ability to develop a multi-year strategy, activity plan and budget to deliver growth. You will also need prior experience of managing and developing existing strategic partnerships and building new relationships within the corporate sector.

The organisation is based in Lewes, Brighton, but offers flexible working arrangements and anticipated travel to London and beyond. The organisation reserves the right to change the closing date if an appropriate candidate is found.
