Part-time Veterinary Project Assistant- Administration

We are delighted to be supporting an international animal charity to recruit a Veterinary Project Assistant.
Please be advised this is a part-time, permanent role (21 hours per week).
The overall purpose of this role is to assist the Veterinary Department in grouping, inputting and analysis of data, leading evidence based research projects and training, and coordinating the ordering of drugs and equipment both in the UK and abroad. Key duties will consist of inputting data analysis collected within the veterinary department to support and monitor projects. You will have a number of administrative tasks to support the team, as well as reviewing KPIs. The successful candidate will improve clinical standards overseas through conducting audits, development of resources, protocols and training. You will be responsible for organising and coordinating the organisation's annual regional meetings including designing and implementing relevant projects. Other project related duties will include collating and responding to project applications, handling supporter enquiries, and assisting with clinical audits in their centres and mobile clinics.
To be considered for this role, it is essential to have project related experience such as producing, managing and monitoring budgets. You are required to have excellent organisation and planning skills, along with strong IT skills. An understanding of the importance of livestock a to the economies of low-income countries is desirable, along with basic level fluency in French. The placed candidate will ideally have flexibility to travel overseas as and when required.
