A leading Environmental Charity based in the heart of South East London are actively recruiting for a Development Manager to develop and manage successful partnerships with councils and funders as well as line manage a small busy team. Excellent organisation and administrative skills with the ability to plan work schedules and work to deadlines will be key. As will a passion for and a good knowledge of environmental causes.

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

*Lead the development of multi-year strategic partnerships
*Develop budgets for each project to be used in partnership agreements, proposals and fundraising applications
*Work closely with the Projects Team to ensure projects are delivered on time, in line with partner and funder objectives, and within allocated expenditure budgets
*Work with the Grants Fundraiser to raise income in line with annual targets
*Support the Corporate Partnerships team to raise funds
*Support the Marketing & Communications team to raise awareness of relevant programmes
*Work with the Impact Coordinator to evaluate the success of the relevant programmes
*Maintain funding files and record information on internal systems

The successful candidate will have strong project management skills with experience of writing funding proposals, compiling reports, publicity materials and interviews and will value the cause.
