Prospectus is excited to be working exclusively with the City of London Sinfonia (CLS) to recruit for a newly created Development Manager (Trusts) position that will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The role's focus will be to grow their relationships with trusts, foundations and statutory funders at an exciting time for an orchestra with a growing reputation for immersive and imaginative audience experiences.

This position is offered as a full time or part time permanent basis paying between £30,000 and £35,000 per annum. based in the Bermondsey office with the option of flexible working.

The Development Manager will play a vital role in growing CLS' recent artistic success, which has in turn grown audiences and increased fundraising capability. CLS is looking to expand its family of funders by developing and leveraging its innovative artistic and participation programmes to establish new relationships with major cultural foundations. This is whilst they maintain their current relationships with existing trusts and continue the success they've had with Arts Council England project funding.

You will have a demonstrable track record of success in applying for funding from trusts and foundations at a five figure level. While an in-depth knowledge of classical music is not a requirement, a passion for music in innovative, participatory and socially beneficial models is a must.
