Fundraising Manager (Major Donor)

Our clients mission is to transform the lives of adults with physical disabilities through partnership with their specially trained assistance dogs. 

Position: Major Donor Manager 
Location: Heyshott, West Sussex OR Osgathorpe, Leicestershire (flexible location or home working considered) 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 
Salary: Between £28,000 and £30,000 depending on experience

About the role: 

To help our client create these amazing partnerships, they need amazing people and they have an exciting opportunity for a Major Donor Manager to develop and implement our clients major donor strategy. This role is responsible for the strategic planning, operational management and delivery of major donor partnerships to achieve significant and sustainable income, ensuring strong engagement.

You will identify, secure and lead the development and management of a range of significant high value relationships with major donors. You will inspire and motivate existing and prospective donors to engage with and support our clients work. 

About you: 

You will have a successful track record of meeting challenging income targets with significant experience in developing funding proposals, innovative propositions and cases for support. Proven experience of identifying, cultivating and stewarding high net worth individuals through a well-defined major donor programme. 

Along with an entrepreneurial and innovative approach, you’ll able to champion our charity values and interact with our volunteers and supporters in a positive and enthusiastic way. Most importantly you will be passionate about the transformative impact that their assistance dogs provide to their beneficiaries.

This position could be based at either of their rural training centres in Heyshott, West Sussex, or Osgathorpe, Leicestershire. There is some flexibility in location and home working available for the right candidate. The role has a national remit and regular travel will be required within the UK.
