This is an exciting time to join our client! They’re a charitable housing association providing homes and services for customers in Cambridge and the surrounding areas.

They have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to lead their housing team and enthusiastically drive the next phase of their improvement programme.

They’re looking for a skilled housing manager who has a passion for working with residents and colleagues to make a real difference.   

Your main responsibilities will include performance, systems and data management; developing and delivering relevant strategies, policies and procedures; providing effective tenancy and neighbourhood services and; facilitating good practice in place-making and improving communities. You’ll also be responsible for letting homes, delivering shared ownership and leasehold services, including re-sales as well as providing an effective service to prevent and tackle anti-social behaviour.

With a turnover of around £8m a year, experience of successfully maximising income from current and former customers is essential. You must have worked within a similar role previously and will have the ability to lead a team delivering continuous improvement across our housing service. You’ll be a skilled manager who has experience of budget preparation, monitoring and control and you’ll have working knowledge of relevant regulations, legislation and good practice relating to housing and landlord services. Strong problem solving and organisational skills are a must as is the ability to work effectively with others.
