Coram’s established Commercial teams work to raise some £5m per annum in revenue and capital funding and to achieve year on year increase in support of the organisation. Following the opening of the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in 2018, Coram has exciting plans to grow further and is set to realise its vision as a national centre of excellence for children.Our plan is to further develop major projects in the story of care and to build new types of consumer sales as well as strategic funding from diverse sources.

About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced multi-faceted leader; working with the Chief Executive and as part of the senior management team in diversifying and building new streams of income. The role is a progressive mix of business development, fundraising and marketing working across a dynamic, growing and entrepreneurial group of charities and companies to maximise benefit to children.

You will have a successful track record of delivery within fundraising, in particular a strong focus on business development/sales.This, combined with the ability to lead, motivate, develop and manage staff across varying fundraising disciplines.Highly self-motivated, you will enjoy delivering projects against multiple deadlines and have previous success at achieving seven figure targets.

Experience at senior functional level, and strong commercial development skills including business planning, marketing/sales, matrix and project management, will be essential to your success.
