This is an exciting opportunity for a proven fundraiser, salesperson or performance-driven marketing professional to play a key role within one of the UK’s highest-performing independent school development offices.

The Uppingham Foundation has received significant investment in 2019, with the team growing from three to seven members of staff. As Foundation Manager you will play a pivotal role in the team’s success, supporting the delivery of significant philanthropic income and contributing to the priorities defined in the Major Giving strategy.

The School’s main fundraising audience, Old Uppinghamians, comprises some of the UK’s most successful individuals, industry leaders and society figureheads. The School already has several six and seven figure donors, and the potential to add to this number is huge. You will lead on the development of gifts between £10,000 and £100,000 and work with prospective donors in professional and social environments of incredibly high regard. As the School has a large number of overseas Alumni, with a strong presence in the Far East, America and several European countries, there will also be an opportunity for overseas travel.

If you have a proven ability to develop relationships with a diverse range of individuals and have a good understanding of the principles of fundraising, other income generation or marketing models, we would be delighted to hear from you.

The role is 21 hours per week and work / life balance flexibility has been built into this post to attract the best possible candidates i.e. term time only working
