We are looking for a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude to join us in this newly developed role.  You will report to the Advice Services Manager and lead on the delivery of our Help to Claim service supporting clients to make a claim for Universal Credit (UC).  You will also manage a welfare benefit caseload and provide support to our volunteers on welfare benefit issues.

You will have a good knowledge and understanding of the welfare benefits system and the ability to interview and support clients in a sensitive and empowering way.  You will also have strong IT skills and be able to communicate clearly and effectively face-to-face, in writing and over the phone.

Whilst experience of working within Citizens Advice would be desirable, we will happily support the right person through Citizens Advice accredited training to enable them to carry out the role.

This role is 20 hours a week to be worked Monday to Thursday with flexibility across the four days of working between the hours of 9:30am – 4:30pm.

You can find out more by clicking on the Apply button to be redirected to our website.  The closing dates for applications is 10am on Monday 8 July 2019.  Interviews are scheduled for 10 and 11 July 2019.
