We are looking for a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude to help us deliver our Mental Health Project.  You will report to the Advice Services Manager and will deliver a generalist advice service, with specific focus on debt, benefits and housing, to clients affected by mental health issues.

You will manage a caseload of mental health clients referred either from our generalist advice service or through the Community Mental Health Recovery Service (CMHRS) and be based at our offices or at outreach venues. You will have a good knowledge and understanding of advice giving in the key areas and the ability to support clients with mental health issues in a sensitive and empowering way.  You will also have strong IT skills and be able to communicate clearly and effectively face-to-face, in writing and over the phone.

Whilst experience of working within Citizens Advice would be desirable, we will happily support the right person through Citizens Advice accredited training to enable them to carry out the role.

There two elements to the Project which means that we can be flexible in how the service is delivered and therefore welcome your application if you are interested in part-time or full-time work.

You can find out more by clicking on the Apply button to be redirected to our website.  The closing dates for applications is 10am on Monday 8 July 2019.  Interviews are scheduled for 10 and 11 July 2019.
